By accessing and using the NeuralConnexion Research Institute website at ncri.nz ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Site.

2. About Us

The Site is operated by NeuralConnexion Research Institute, a charitable trust registered in New Zealand based in Auckland. Our purpose is to support research, professional education and public awareness in neurological health.

3. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not:

• Infringe the rights of any other person or restrict their use of the Site.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, its servers, or any connected systems.
• Introduce viruses, trojans, worms or other malicious software.
• Use automated tools to copy or republish content in bulk, or in a way that ignores our robots.txt or places excessive load on the Site, without prior written consent. Search engines and AI assistants may index, summarise and cite the Site in line with our robots.txt.

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images and software, is the property of NeuralConnexion Research Institute or its licensors and is protected by New Zealand and international copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may view, download and print content from the Site for personal, non-commercial use only. Any other use requires our prior written permission.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure the information on the Site is accurate and current. However, we do not warrant that the content is complete, reliable or error-free.

The Site provides general information about neurological health and our research activities. It does not constitute medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns.

6. Donations

Donations made through the Site are processed securely by Stripe. All donations are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD). Donations to NeuralConnexion Research Institute support our charitable purposes as outlined on the Site.

Refund requests for donations should be directed to info@ncri.nz and will be considered on a case by case basis.

7. External Links

The Site may contain links to external websites operated by third parties. We have no control over the content or availability of those sites and do not endorse or accept responsibility for them. Accessing external links is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, NeuralConnexion Research Institute shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of or inability to use the Site.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under New Zealand law, including under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 where applicable.
